Prior to being called to the Bar in 2025, Dana worked for 14 years as a solicitor with the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office and Legal Aid NSW. For four of those years, Dana was a Solicitor Advocate, appearing at final hearings and trials as well as complex interim hearings.

Dana is experienced in family law (parenting and financial proceedings), care and protection, domestic violence matters and coronial inquests and inquiries.

Between 2021 and 2024, Dana was a lecturer and course coordinator at the University of Newcastle in both Family Law and Child Law. Dana is regularly asked to present papers at conferences and seminars, and was a contributor to the development of the National Domestic and Family Violence Benchbook.

Dana is also a nationally accredited mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, able to act as mediator to help resolve disputes.
