Michael graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2006 with a first-class honours degree in law, having earlier graduated with a degree in commerce.

Michael commenced practice as a Solicitor working for Dignan & Hanrahan Solicitors in Campbelltown in July 2006. Michael’s practice at that point was in general litigation with a particular focus on criminal law.

In 2009 Michael went to the Bar and relocated to Newcastle.

Since commencing at the Bar, Michael has developed a wide practice in appearance and advice work. Michael’s practice has included being led in a number of cases by Senior Counsel in common law, family law and criminal law.
