Lauren graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2006, with First Class Honours in Law and a Bachelor of Commerce.

Before being called to the Bar in 2017, Lauren worked as a solicitor for 10 years, in Australia and Dubai. Lauren gained experience across a variety of practice areas, including not only family law but also commercial litigation, building disputes, crime and estate planning.

Since being called to the Bar in 2017, Lauren has predominately practiced in family law, in both parenting and financial matters.

In 2024 Lauren was named on the Doyle’s Guide as a recommended Junior Counsel in Parenting and Children’s Matters.

Lauren also is an author for Lexis Nexis, an accredited mediator and the Secretary of the Newcastle Bar Association.
